iBossWell (IBW) is proud to announce a repeat engagement with @LevelUp Kids, whose mission is “To provide access to services that empower families and create opportunities for low-income children to succeed in school and life.” IBW is supporting LevelUp Kids in strategic planning.
LevelUp Kids began in 2002 as the Miles of Smiles portable dental program, to meet the oral health care needs of low-income children in Clay and Platte Counties. It has since treated more than 25,000 children, and during that time, identified more needs and barriers facing these children and their families every day.
In January 2020, the organization expanded with a new, school-based vision program called ICare4Kids, offering vision screenings, comprehensive eye exams, and free eyeglasses for low-income children and those whose families are enrolled in Medicaid.
