The Judging Panel for The Greatest Boss Contest included three distinguished professionals who are committed to excellence in leadership and bossing. Believing in the value of humane leadership to individuals and organizations, we use coaching and supportive programs to promote leadership skills and the qualities needed to achieve this.

Leigh Branham, Principal of Keeping the People, Inc., Overland Park, Kansas, a consulting firm he founded in 2003 to help organizations analyze the root causes of employee disengagement and turnover, and develop and implement strategies to become "employers-of-choice." (www.keepingthepeople.com)

Leigh is the co-author, with Mark Hirschfeld, of Re-Engage: How America's Best Places to Work Inspire Extra Effort in Extraordinary Times (McGraw-Hill, February, 2010). Leigh's previous two books--The 7 Hidden Reasons Employees Leave, and Keeping the People Who Keep You in Business, were both selected among the top 30 business books of the year. Additionally, he publishes a free quarterly e-newsletter - Keeping the People Report.

Margaret F. Reid, PhD

Margaret Reid, PhD

Margaret F. Reid, PhD, Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Her research focuses on gender issues in the workplace as well as research on innovative approaches to community development. Margaret serves as the director of a nonprofit certificate program called See Change, which just celebrated the graduation of its first class of participants. She also designed a new nonprofit graduate certificate for students in the MBA and Master of Public Administration programs. She is a member of several nonprofit boards in Northwestern Arkansas.
